Cleaning a clinical space is not cleaning an office with stronger disinfectant. Waiting rooms and restrooms carry a different risk profile, and in an exam room some surfaces are wiped between patients by your staff while others fall to the cleaner. What janitorial is not, and we will tell you up front
We are not performing terminal cleaning of a procedure room. We do not handle regulated medical waste, sharps, or biohazard containers. Those are separate disciplines with separate licensing and separate liability, and any cleaning company that agrees to them casually is not doing you a favor.
What we do cover: waiting and reception, restrooms on a fixed rotation rather than on complaint, corridors, break rooms, offices, hard floors and carpet on schedule, entry glass, and general trash worked as a route with your regulated stream left entirely alone. Knowing exactly where a vendor stops is worth more than a vendor who says yes to everything.
Small buildings, after hours, and no security desk
Most commercial property in Venice is small. Buildings without a staffed desk, without on-site management, and often without anyone there after five. Access has to be handled properly rather than improvised: keys or codes, alarm procedures, who gets called if something is wrong, all documented before the first shift, with a certificate of insurance naming the building.
The season swings harder here than it does up the coast. From January through March waiting rooms run full and the floors and restrooms see several times the traffic they saw in August. We build that change into the agreement in advance instead of renegotiating in the middle of it.
